Quick Update

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to quickly update you all! I haven’t forgotten the blog, I’m working on a couple of projects right now so my attention is elsewhere. I’ve also taken up a new RL hobby, so I’ve been doing that as well. I have some things in mind for future posts so fear not, I am here and I am active! I’m also working on something that will have me writing about the SL fashion scene in a new way, hopefully that will pan out. Remember, if you have any suggestions or comments, feel free to contact me in-world, leave a comment or drop a notecard on me!

Kalico Kreations On Stage

On Saturday, April 26, Kalico Kreations, by Kenny Sleeper, will be presenting their latest and greatest in a fashion show put on by the wonderful NexCore agency. Show time is 1:30 PM SLT in the Innocence sim. If you want to hop over there directly, I have a limo to the red carpet right here.

I hope to make it to the show myself, since my alter ego is a neko that lives in Kalico City, so maybe I’ll see you there!

Last night I played dress-up with some friends, and when I logged in today I was still wearing my outfit. I thought it looked unique enough for a post on what I’m wearing, and I’ll be roaming around in this for the next little while anyway. It may not be your thing, but it’s fun, and took me a couple of minutes to put together.

Not Exactly Fashion Related…

But I wanted to mention an event that is going on tomorrow at a friend’s club, Hooters. It’s a Relay For Life theme and event, where all tips to staff will be donated to the RFL at the end of the event. The description is as follows:

“Throw on your sexiest purple, your relay for life bandanas, or just come as you are!! It’s a special event tonight — the Hooters staff is going to donate 100% of their tips to RFL! Get to the club and party with us, tip the hell out of our dancers & DJ, and watch us fill up that Relay For Life kiosk!! See ya there!”

The event is tomorrow, April 5, at 4:00 PM SLT at Hooters n Shooters. I hope some people will drop by one club event that is for a great cause!

/Rant On

To start off today’s post I wanted to bring up my post from a few weeks ago regarding bad customer service. If you remember, I had a problem with a pair of boots I had purchased and had waited 4 weeks at that point for the situation to be rectified. Now after another notecard to another person, the situation was finally put to rest 5 weeks after the initial purchase. I have to say, I do love those boots, and am very glad to have gotten them but at the same time I am so disappointed that I haven’t been back to the store, even though there are a number of things I really would like from there. I am torn about whether or not I should give it another chance. I suppose if it did happen again that would solidify my opinion on it.
