Fantasy Faire Preview: Whatz!

The SL Fantasy Faire 2012 opens tomorrow to the public, and I’m here to offer you an idea of what you can expect! I’m wearing a “Game of Thrones” inspired gown, so fans pay attention to this post! Whatz by Titania Halasy has this outfit called in braavos blue, which will be available at the faire as a Relay For Life donation item, with the price being L$ 200. This includes the blue gown, 3 vests: plain, one with Stark sigil and one with Arryn sigil (the one I am wearing in the photo); as well as 2 belts. I feel like I could fit in any number of roleplay villages, including pirates, historical or Gorean ones. Hopefully you’ll come check out this and other donation items from Whatz at the faire!

Fantasy Faire Preview: Living the FantaSea

This year’s Fantasy Faire begins in a few days, and I thought I’d give you a peek at some of the things you can expect, beginning with this full mermaid outfit by Living the FantaSea by Corkie Houston! I hadn’t really thought about mermaids as a possible creature that I would see at the faire, but it’s so nice to have a wide amount of variety.

The outfit is called Showstopper Mer Tail, and it is an item that was created especially for and awaiting its unveiling at Fantasy Faire  (this item will only be sold for the benefit of the Relay For Life). 100% of the proceeds will go to charity, and better still, the price for the full outfit is only L$ 100!

I Do It Pretty, In Pink

Well pink is one of my favorite colors, always has been. I seem to have many pink items, but when you pile them up, the look isn’t as interesting anymore. So this week for the blogger’s challenge of 52 Weeks of Color, I decided to mix different shades of pink with a couple more neutral ones. I also broke out my new Bloom Doll avatar (head, shape and skin) from Surf Co. It’s so fun to just get silly with! That’s all from me for this week, Pinky Bloom over….and out!

A Little White Sheep

This week I decided to pull out something rather cute for the blogger’s challenge of 52 Weeks of Color. White is a color I have tons of items in, but then you’ve probably seen so many white shirts, dresses and so on that it all starts to look the same. So, here I am in a cutesy avatar I picked up a couple of years ago from the Creators Stamp Rally 2009 (this year’s version, Choice!2011 will be coming up soon, so keep an eye open for that).  I feel so sweet and innocent in this, maybe I’ll keep it on for a while…

Romana Dollarbie by Seldom Blue

Seldom Blue is a brand that is now quite established in Second Life©. They recently opened up a new satellite store at Oceane Island and for the occasion decide to put out this lingerie set called Romana for L$ 1. The set consists of the bra top (with and without arm bands, and undies on all layers as well as the prim arm ruffles and the flouncy train on the back. All the pearl details on the set are hand-drawn and you can tell that it took a lot of effort, making this dollarbie especially generous. This is a permanent special item for the new location, so make sure to check it out!

By the way, when you arrive at the landing point, you will be outside Oceane’s main-store, just go to the right hand side of the steps, and there at the bottom you should find Seldom Blue.

Super Kalia!

I’ve been wearing this costume for the last couple of days, so I have to blog it since I’ve gotten a bunch of comments on it already. I’m wearing the female version of the We Could Be Superheroes costume from Awesome Blossom. Clementine Ishtari collaborated with Johnn Balzibo to come up with this, as well as a male version. It totally brings you back to childhood, with a make-shift cape, bucket for a helmet and a belt with all the gear you need to fight crime! Big rain boots complete the look and will aid with kicking down doors. The boots are color-change, as is the butterfly on the belt buckle. The bucket hat comes with 12 different faces. You also get a crown and a goldfish cracker to wear in your mouth. This outfit is too cute, I can’t take it off! Both the female and male costumes cost L$ 200 each, or you can get the We Could Be Superheroes Together costumes, which includes one of each costume set for L$ 300.

I am Super Kalia, and this is my mighty companion Sniffles! We’ll fight crime any day, any time! Pew pew pew!

IFW10 Exclusive Milena Gown by MIAMAI

Yes, I have another IFW10 exclusive design to show you all, this time from MIAMAI by monica Outlander. This is the Milena gown and it comes in 6 colors including the rose version I have on here. It comes with the full skirt and a ruffle for the bodice which I think is really pretty and flattering for those with a small bust like myself. MIAMAI will have a runway show today, Saturday July 17 at 3:00 PM SLT. If you’d like to catch the show, just teleport to the IFW10 sim and make sure to get there a bit early to get a good seat!

IFW10 Exclusive Golden Bodysuits by KIM Fashion

International Fashion Week 2010 is underway and there are plenty of interesting, unique and downright gorgeous items! I was lucky enough to score the Golden Bodysuits outfit from KIM Fashion by Kimberly Flagon. She had her show last night, which I am very sorry to have missed, but if you stop by her spot at the event then you can see all her newly released, exclusive for IFW10 items that are not in her store yet. I tried to show the detail on the skirt, which has a band of sculpted roses. You can use the bodysuit in a variety of ways, and add the skirt to other outfits too making this a versatile purchase.

Flamenco in My Heart

Dancing begins in the heart and soul, and even though I’m miles away from Spain, a little dance has sprung up inside me and I thought I would dress up for the occasion. Could there be anything more extravagant and striking than the Isis Andaluz dress from Nardcotix? Nardya Rousselot did an exceptional job on this, I truly feel like I could dance the night away to some intoxicating flamenco music in this. The dress comes on all layers and includes system skirt, decorative bodice ruffles, 3 part prim skirt, and the headpiece. This is one of the more expensive outfits I’ve shown on here for L$ 840, but it can be worn several ways and you can easily fit the prim parts (thank goodness).

The sexy red heels are also from Nardcotix and are called the Rebekah pumps. Currently available in 20 colors, each one comes with a pair with a colored heel and then one pair with a black heel, except for the black pair which comes with a grey sole version. Each color pack costs L$ 500, while the fatpack sells for L$ 8000. Everyone needs a few pairs of classic heels, so these are a good option since you’re able to wear the color you like, in more than one way.
