Chevron Way

A little while ago my alt got herself some mesh breasts, and when I saw the Belted Chevron dress from DCNY, I splurged and bought myself a pair. So here we go, my first post using mesh breasts! They take some adjusting, but I’ll be using them more as the weather gets warmer and I want to show some more skin. This dress comes in a variety of colors, with 2 belt options (black or brown), and then a belt-less version like I am wearing. You can get it right now at My Attic, which only runs for a short while longer.

A Casual Easter

I got some new items from E! Eclectic Apparel and Accessories today, and one of them was a cute new tank top with an Easter bunny. Since it’s just a couple days away I put together a casual version of an Easter outfit using it as the base. It’s the current VIP group gift, if you’re not a member of the store’s group, there is a group join board next to the gift. There is a L$ 400 join fee, but you get a gift every month so it’s totally worth it. I decided to also wear their new Kallie Pants in Navy, which has a subtle leather texture. The pants come in 10 colors so there’s plenty to chose from.

I added the Video Games hair by Truth to top it off, since it comes with a flower headband that reminds me of the headbands that little girls tend to wear with their Easter dresses. For L$ 100 you can take your chance at The Arcade and get a random color from the gacha machine. The headband is separate from the hair so you can wear it with other hair.

The Nea Me

The Skin Fair 2013 is opening on March 15, 2013 and I was so excited to get in early! Snow Rabbit has this brand new item out called Nea, which is a hybrid mesh avatar, meaning the head is a mesh item and then the skin and shape are worn as usual. I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it, the sweet face looked down on me and I was in love.

There are 5 tones available separately or as a fat pack, they are: Milky White, Natural Beige (shown above)…

And Natural White, Dark Beige, and Bronze (shown above).

You are able to chose several types of eye make-up, lip tint, eyelashes, and blush by using a fairly simple HUD. In addition, you are able to wear your own eyes or mesh eyes that are included and worn separately, there is a HUD to control eye color and one for tears. The ears are another attachment so that you can remove them if your hairstyle covers the ears. There is a link to a manual on the Snow Rabbit Support blog, so you can thoroughly learn what each button does. You also can set if you blink, mouth opens, or does nothing. I think it’s a really fun way to have a make-over, while still remaining true to my sense of style because the face of Nea is just so darn CUTE! I tried to show a bit of what you can do with the head in the pictures. Each skin-tone has 2 versions – one has a more push-up cleavage, I wore both in the pictures so that you could see the difference…oh, and there is a shape included too, but it worked nicely with my normal shape.. Hopefully by now you are chomping at the bit to get your hands on this hybrid avatar, but here’s a bit more info.

Kawaii Cutie

Today’s outfit uses items from 2 events, so you’ll want to make sure you stop by and visit both of them! My hair is out at Collabor88 by D!va and it comes with 2 versions, and the ability to change the colors of the accessories as well as turn them off completely. Bad-ass Boutique

Everyone and their mom is talking about the opening of the Gos Boutique! Gospel Voom has come out with 4 models of shoe and 2 barefoot options, to see all of them you can check out this page on their website. This Gold Snake version of the Sophia Peep-toe donates 100% of the profits to PDSA, which provides vet services for pet owners who can’t afford them.

Also, you might notice my funky new Denim Moto Jacket which is from DCNY, available at this month’s round of Zodiac – Aquarius! It comes in several colors, and each comes with or without the embroidery, although I think that’s exactly what makes it special.

A Bit of “this N that”

An old friend of mine, Desiree Davison, has a store called this N that Designs, where she sells a bunch of different things. She recently started selling clothes so I used the Balloon Top and Jean Shorts from her store to start a look for today! Both items are priced at only L$ 99, which is more than reasonable , and they are mesh so they come in several sizes. The store is really cute, so drop by and check it out.

Sweet As Candy?

Perfect Wardrobe is going on with the theme of “Candy Shop” and I picked up this cute dress in double pack (came with a light blue version) called Vellent Retro Dress for only L$ 90 from a brand called Yulicie. It makes me feel like a walking strawberry sundae! So to continue with that I added some other candy-colored pieces.

Accessories can make the look so I put on my new In Dreams Horns from Auxiliary which are available at Zodiac, and then I picked up some earrings from Amorous to complete the look – these are called Urchin and you can change the color of the spikes, metal and so on.

I think I look pretty darn cute!

Asian Flowers

I’m posting today with some more items from the Unhinged event! First is the gorgeous Jane Doll skin from *YS&YS*, which is just one of their skins that you’ll be able to play the gacha machine for. I’m wearing the toothy version, but it also comes without your chompers showing. Then there is my dress, which is by PixelDolls. I haven’t worn this brand in quite some time, but with this dress that comes with various mesh attachments, I think I will be seriously watching them once again.

Get Unhinged

Tomorrow (November 15, 2012) the event called Unhinged opens. This is a charity event for a creator called Eku Zhong, who has a rare issue with a part of her skull and needs to have it replaced. This is a costly surgery so her friends and peers have rallied together with this event to help alleviate the cost. Unhinged is a gacha event where 75% of the profits go towards the fund to help Eku.

I am wearing gacha items from several designers in this post, starting from the top I’m wearing Najwa eyes from Bilo, in 2 colors (mist and yellow) as they are mesh eyes and you can attach a different color to each eye. My dramatic make-up is by Beautiful Freak and is called Obake. It comes in several other color versions as well, it’s fun for dress up or just because. My top is by Geometry, it’s a funky mesh tank, aptly called Eku Tank and I’m wearing the pretty purple version, which I matched with the purple suede boots from lassitude & ennui which feature Sugarskulls (just like it’s name).

Pretty Preppy

I feel like such a proper lady in this outfit, so I thought I’d do a wee post with it. My top is by The Secret Store and is current at FaMESHed, called Sweet Sheer. It was a birthday gift from my lovely sister Sommer – she spoils me! And from there, the rest of the look was born. Pairing it with a high-waist skirt seemed like a no-brainer. Overall, using black as the main color and still looking young and fresh is a pretty nifty thing in my eyes.
