A Casual Easter

I got some new items from E! Eclectic Apparel and Accessories today, and one of them was a cute new tank top with an Easter bunny. Since it’s just a couple days away I put together a casual version of an Easter outfit using it as the base. It’s the current VIP group gift, if you’re not a member of the store’s group, there is a group join board next to the gift. There is a L$ 400 join fee, but you get a gift every month so it’s totally worth it. I decided to also wear their new Kallie Pants in Navy, which has a subtle leather texture. The pants come in 10 colors so there’s plenty to chose from.

I added the Video Games hair by Truth to top it off, since it comes with a flower headband that reminds me of the headbands that little girls tend to wear with their Easter dresses. For L$ 100 you can take your chance at The Arcade and get a random color from the gacha machine. The headband is separate from the hair so you can wear it with other hair.

Kawaii Cutie

Today’s outfit uses items from 2 events, so you’ll want to make sure you stop by and visit both of them! My hair is out at Collabor88 by D!va and it comes with 2 versions, and the ability to change the colors of the accessories as well as turn them off completely. I also got my new cute skirt recently, it’s from The Sea Hole’s gacha machine at The Arcade. It’s got a cute little kawaii happy poo on it, and well…this could be the first and last time I wear poo.

Asian Flowers

I’m posting today with some more items from the Unhinged event! First is the gorgeous Jane Doll skin from *YS&YS*, which is just one of their skins that you’ll be able to play the gacha machine for. I’m wearing the toothy version, but it also comes without your chompers showing. Then there is my dress, which is by PixelDolls. I haven’t worn this brand in quite some time, but with this dress that comes with various mesh attachments, I think I will be seriously watching them once again.

Hip Summer

I imagined Bananarama’s “Cruel Summer” a bit in the making of this post. Just replace “cruel” with “hip”…and then make up the rest of the words like I do. I’m wearing a bunch of items available at Vintage Fair 2012, and since it will be coming to a close on August 29 you should stop by soon!

Let’s start from the bottom up, with LITA Floral Shorts from .::PiCHi::., which are mesh and come in a few color options. I went for a pink and purple look today, so I paired them with a fuchsia top from *Mon Cheri*. I like mixing patterns, so the Zigzag Tote from Crash Republic was a nice way to keep with the same color palette but give the look some diversity. It’s a free gift, so you’ll want to be sure to grab it.

My skin and hair are also at the fair. My Veronica hair is by Wasabi Pills and reminds me of Hollywood starlet Veronica Lake. My skin is one of the Eliza 80′s skins that are by Izzie’s. These have a very youthful feel, and the make-ups do remind me of the trends in the 80′s (what little I remember from back then). All together these items become a hip summer look that make me sorry that it’s almost over.

Vintage Fair 2012 Preview: Looking In

I have another new look going on today from The Vintage Fair, and since it’s opening in a few days (Saturday, August 4, 2012) I thought it would be okay to tease you all a little more. I’m wearing new items from head to toe – so let’s get started!

My hair is from Pomme d’Amour, it’s called POLKA and is in a chocolate color. It’s not mesh, but it is resizable, so that’s always handy. I’m wearing a new skin, it’s from Heartsick and called Jaci. I love the bright red lips and winged black eye-liner!

My dress is from DCNY, a very current brand – but hello, I love this 60′s mod-style mini dress with collar. It reminds me of something Twiggy wore back in the day. If you’re going to go look for it, it’s called the Pop Collar dress. If you look closely at the first pic, I’ve got on some black leather kitten heels from ChaChaDee. It’s my first time wearing anything from them, but I was really happy to see how well made they are. They are called 1950s Heels, but I think they work with this pseudo 60′s vibe.

My pose prop, Though the Keyhole, is also available at the fair, it’s by HopScotch and it’s only one of the props and poses they will be showing. There are 7 poses built into the keyhole prop and you can adjust the position of them to fit your height. I’m on the short-side and they seemed to work pretty well for me.

Hair Fair 2012: 2 By Lamb

Hair Fair 2012 is flying by so fast! It’s been nearly a week since my last post so I must show you 2 mesh hairs that I got from lamb, which I absolutely adore. The hair shown above is called Wild at Heart, and I am wearing it in a color called Unicorn. This is from the Macaron color pack, in case you also want a less traditional shade of hair.

I got a second style in the same Macaron color pack; this one is called In Heaven and I’m wearing the Koolaid color. It kind of does remind me of grape Kool-aid which I loved as a kid for some reason. Besides these two styles, there are 2 more women’s hair and one men’s, which could be unisex as well. Hair Fair 2012: 2 By Wasabi Pills

Wasabi Pills has started to become one of my very favorite brands for mesh hair. Their styles are impeccably made, and every single one seems to call out to me. However, I restrained myself and grabbed 2 of the styles available at Hair Fair 2012. The first is called Ichigo (which means strawberry in Japanese) and I got it in a blonde pack since I felt quite summery with the way it was tied up. It comes with a HUD that allows you to color the scarf in two parts, I did them in blue and black so that you could see which areas that was.

Then I decided to get the Zoey hair in browns because it felt more of an earthy style to me. I love pigtails, and the headband on it makes it different from all the other similar styles out there. Again there is a HUD to color the beads on each level of the bands, as well as change the color of the bands themselves.

A portion of every item sold at Hair Fair 2012 will go to the charity Wigs For Kids. The amount varies depending on the participant, but it’s a great cause that helps kids who have lost their hair due to cancer or other illnesses get a quality wig that suits them. Curly Q

I feel like the title of this post sort of describes my hair ‘do which was a great group gift from =DeLa*=. It’s one of 2 mesh styles in the gift – and each comes in 2 colors! I love how I can wear hair that I could never pull off in the real world – and it fits my personality pretty well I think. Plus the ruffles of the Mignon top by Ingenue sort of match in a flirty way, it’s available for the month at Collabor88 in 5 colors – remember to try a demo!

If you like my skin or clutch, you should hurry to The Dressing Room by the end of the day tomorrow because then they’ll be gone! My skin is Kajira in light from Glam Affair, and my colorful Danerys clutch is by Emery. TDR is a great place to find items on trend and at a great price, who doesn’t love that?

Hot Shot

It might be funny to some people, but sometimes a simple and refined outfit can be sexier than anything that lets your bits n’ pieces hang out. To be honest, I felt like a real babe while taking these photos! I love the new mesh items from Celoe, and I rushed to get this Kyra jumpsuit as soon as I saw it. Hot pink is one of my staple colors, and this is totally on point for summer. Check out the new Mayfair sim, it’s a gorgeous mesh build – but I expect it to be busy for the next few days!

Also, I bet you noticed my luscious new blonde mane. I’m part lion actually…just kidding! This is the Pussy Galore hair from Shag and it’s so fabulous – it’s like big sex hair meets wild woman, meets Miami hottie. It’s big and beautiful and makes me feel like a million bucks, what else can you ask for in hair? It fits with my 70′s South Beach look, but it can go avant-garde or girl next door. Love it!
