Bad-ass Boutique

Everyone and their mom is talking about the opening of the Gos Boutique! Gospel Voom has come out with 4 models of shoe and 2 barefoot options, to see all of them you can check out this page on their website. This Gold Snake version of the Sophia Peep-toe donates 100% of the profits to PDSA, which provides vet services for pet owners who can’t afford them.

Also, you might notice my funky new Denim Moto Jacket which is from DCNY, available at this month’s round of Zodiac – Aquarius! It comes in several colors, and each comes with or without the embroidery, although I think that’s exactly what makes it special.

SnowDear

I realized that I had been wearing this coat from G*Field for a couple of days, so I thought I might as well show everyone who hadn’t seen me in it yet. The Natalie coat comes in a selection of colors, from dark to light, and features a HUD to control the fur cuffs and collar which are able to be one of a number of textures. I really wanted to show off the very new Foxy boots from Bax Coen Designs! These are the first mesh product that Bax offers, and they come as various duo’s – you get 2 main colors in each pair, as well as the ability to change the color of the accent parts (zipper, sole rim, trim). Each can also turn off the cuff area so you can wear them under pants without a problem.

Last but not least, if you’re looking for a great bargain, my snowflake-adorned Crystal Clutch is from Je Suis… and is for the With Love Hunt, so it’s only L$ 10! It’s still hidden in the store, so make sure to grab it quickly!

Reindeer Casual

Christmas is on the way! Whether or not you celebrate the holiday, you have to agree that my Reindeer sweater from E! Eclectic Apparel and Accessories is probably one of the cutest holiday sweaters you have ever seen! I wanted to go for a casual look without being frumpy, so I added a tight skirt and tights, and these amazing new boots by Slink, that you can find at the new TDR Fusion store for only L$ 70!

Boho Cutie

I was originally going to use this look on my other blog, Living The Cute Life SL, but realized I hadn’t posted here in a few weeks. My adorable paisley boho babydoll dress is by DCNY, and it was released last month but it’s so adorable and comes in a number of colors. My shoes are by Ingenue and are at Collabor88 for only a few more days, so grab them while you still can!

I’m wearing my latest skin purchase, Chloe from The Sugar Garden. It’s so youthful and cutesy, which checks the boxes when it comes to skin for me (majority of the time). You can get it with or without freckles, and I went without because I could always add that on a tattoo layer if I felt like it. They also have appliers for prim/mesh boobies, if you’re into that.

Get Unhinged

Tomorrow (November 15, 2012) the event called Unhinged opens. This is a charity event for a creator called Eku Zhong, who has a rare issue with a part of her skull and needs to have it replaced. This is a costly surgery so her friends and peers have rallied together with this event to help alleviate the cost. Unhinged is a gacha event where 75% of the profits go towards the fund to help Eku.

I am wearing gacha items from several designers in this post, starting from the top I’m wearing Najwa eyes from Bilo, in 2 colors (mist and yellow) as they are mesh eyes and you can attach a different color to each eye. My dramatic make-up is by Beautiful Freak and is called Obake. It comes in several other color versions as well, it’s fun for dress up or just because. My top is by Geometry, it’s a funky mesh tank, aptly called Eku Tank and I’m wearing the pretty purple version, which I matched with the purple suede boots from lassitude & ennui which feature Sugarskulls (just like it’s name).

Frisky Fall

There is a chill in the air now, and it seems like fall is zipping past me. The best part of colder weather is that there are a few more fashion options, like outerwear. I love coats, and this new Bristol Trench from Mon Tissu is so on point with the double breasted buttons and complementary edge piping. One of my favorite people in the world gave this to me as a gift, so a big thank you to my sister Sommer!

Also, take a look at my heels. Aren’t they fabulous? I love how unique they are, while still being refined enough to wear in a variety of ways. They are by Ingenue and are specially made for the Zodiac monthly event. They also come in a blood red or dark aqua, and each are only L$ 150, making them a steal!

Mannequin

Hi again, I’ve got yet another look straight from Vintage Fair 2012! I am a window mannequin in this post, with the new pose prop from Bent! called L’Ookbook Boutique. The poses can be used for modelling, for ads, or maybe you want to use it as decor.  My mesh Vintage Jacket and Dress are from One Bad Pixel, it’s available in a lot of different colors but this cream worked well with the red flowers on the jacket, and I could play it up with red accessories.

My Coco sunnies are from Purple Moon Creations, they too come in a whole bunch of colors so you can find one that fits your outfit. I love a big pair of sunglasses, they make me feel so glamorous. My Vintage 2-strap Pumps are from Slink and you can find them in the same booth as One Bad Pixel, and match their dresses. Wear all the same shade or wear another complimentary color! They are mesh, in case you were wondering.

My skin is by **SHINE** and is called Rose, it comes in different make-up options, but I love a winged eye-liner with a nude lip. It’s one that I could wear for many occasions. My earrings are available in set from Maxi Gossamer, called Lydia. It comes with necklaces in various lengths, and all pieces are mesh.

Vintage Fair 2012 Preview: Looking In

I have another new look going on today from The Vintage Fair, and since it’s opening in a few days (Saturday, August 4, 2012) I thought it would be okay to tease you all a little more. I’m wearing new items from head to toe – so let’s get started!

My hair is from Pomme d’Amour, it’s called POLKA and is in a chocolate color. It’s not mesh, but it is resizable, so that’s always handy. I’m wearing a new skin, it’s from Heartsick and called Jaci. I love the bright red lips and winged black eye-liner!

My dress is from DCNY, a very current brand – but hello, I love this 60′s mod-style mini dress with collar. It reminds me of something Twiggy wore back in the day. If you’re going to go look for it, it’s called the Pop Collar dress. If you look closely at the first pic, I’ve got on some black leather kitten heels from ChaChaDee. It’s my first time wearing anything from them, but I was really happy to see how well made they are. They are called 1950s Heels, but I think they work with this pseudo 60′s vibe.

My pose prop, Though the Keyhole, is also available at the fair, it’s by HopScotch and it’s only one of the props and poses they will be showing. There are 7 poses built into the keyhole prop and you can adjust the position of them to fit your height. I’m on the short-side and they seemed to work pretty well for me.

Lovely Light

I was lucky enough to get a couple new items from E! Eclectic Apparel and decided to put a twist on a summer look with them. I sort of went for an European, romantic feel with the styling as well as the lighting. The Bronte Top and Darla Blazer are both mesh items, but they layer well with each other while wearing the same size for both (xs). The blazer is cut a little bigger to fit over the top it seems, so I was really happy not to have to try to see which size fit over the top.

I’m also wearing a new pair of shoes, these are from Ingenue and are available at this round of Collabor88 that opened just a couple days ago. The two-toned color choices range from classy to sassy. I love wedges, so these are my new faves! Each pair is only L$ 88 so there is no reason not to get a pair.

Minty Spring

I am desperately wanting more spring weather in real life, so in my second life I am wearing clothes that help me pretend it’s not so darn cold outside. Je suis… has come out with a lot of fun accessories lately, so I incorporated a few of them (including the bag, which isn’t available anymore) into this look which I find very “spring”.

My earrings and ballet flats are part of a bunch of recent releases from je suis… the occidental earrings are for Best Brand’s Exile, which runs until April 16, 2012. They are only L$ 80, so that’s a real steal! The ballet flats are a mesh item, which are part of a whole haul of preview items for the spring/summer collections available at the Wear Grey event, which runs until April 22, 2012.
