Sunset Pink

I put together a quick look today using the adorable 3 Tier Dress in Cotton Candy from Cupcakes as the base of my look. Since elikatira is still having a huge sale, I figured that I would use of the colorful hairs from the rainbow pack of a hair called Sound. This outfit makes me feel ready for Valentine’s Day or something…and yes, I like to keep it cute!

Wicked Woman

Halloween is almost here and every year I try to do something different for it. I started getting into the spirit already, and am now rocking this wickedly sexy look. I got this Maleficent-esque dress on Marketplace from JRCs, and it was L$ 99 and comes in 5 sizes, with a headpiece and mask to complete the look. It’s not standard sizing though, so I had to do some modifying to my shape. And with that slit, you get a peek inside…

Check out my spiderweb leggings and my shiny shoes…both are by Bax Coen Designs for Halloween! The leggings come in 2 lengths and are free to all group members! The booties come in 3 colors, bright purple, neon green, and hot pink! Each one is decorated with a spider and it’s web, and the best part is that each pair costs only L$ 95!

Vintage Fair 2012 Preview: At The Diner

The Vintage Fair is almost here, it opens Saturday, August 4, 2012! I have a small preview today, with items from Ingenue, and, fair sponsor, oOo Studio. Other sponsors include: Aura, Belleza, Cheeky Pea, coldLogic, Gizza Creations, Indyra Originals, PurpleMoon Creations, and Trompe Loeil.

My Jubilee necklace, Lauren skirt and Jive shoes are all by Ingenue, one of the widely known and long-standing, vintage brands. I went for a classic black and red outfit and used the background of a diner to give it an even more retro feel.

Aren’t the cherries on my necklace cute? Both of the poses I used are by oOo Studio, they have new vintage-inspired poses out for the event and they are one of the major sponsors this year. I can definitely see using them beyond the fair because they are feminine and classic.

Vintage Fair #4 – Here She Comes

Just look at at us! Sommer (on the right) and I decided that we would do another post together, this time using items from the Vintage Fair.

I started off this look with my hair, which is from Ploom and is called Mimi. It comes in all the usual color packs, but it’s one of the brands to use a HUD to control the color of it which I really appreciate because that often saves space in your inventory. Then I remembered that Curio had this new skin out called Vintage, and of course thought it would be appropriate. It comes with a tattoo of a drawn-on eyebrow – which is very 1920′s if I remember correctly. You can’t see them in this shot, but my eyes are a free fair gift from ROZENA, a beautiful sparkling brown pair which you would would be silly not to get. The stunning and most noticeable item I’m wearing is my dress. It’s the trapeze dress from DCNY and it’s in my favorite color – pink!

Pray For Japan 2 Day Event!

There is a great 2 day event going on now at Pasarella, called Pray For Japan! The event involves live music performances with various DJs and a special dance from the Dazzlers to start it all off at 11:30 AM SLT! There will be several charity vendors by all sorts of brands, with 100% of the proceeds going  to the Red Cross Japan via a fundraising avatar: Fundraisersl Resident. Will you be there? I will!

La-La-La Lime!

Electric lime…well I didn’t see that coming as the color of the week for Luna’s 52 Weeks of Color, blogger’s challenge. Thankfully, *BOOM* has produced several items in a lime color so I made sure to use them. I made the rest of the outfit sort of  resort-chic, that’s not a real word but you know what I mean, what I imagine women swan around in around a pool in “The Hills” or something like that.
