Get Unhinged

Tomorrow (November 15, 2012) the event called Unhinged opens. This is a charity event for a creator called Eku Zhong, who has a rare issue with a part of her skull and needs to have it replaced. This is a costly surgery so her friends and peers have rallied together with this event to help alleviate the cost. Unhinged is a gacha event where 75% of the profits go towards the fund to help Eku.

I am wearing gacha items from several designers in this post, starting from the top I’m wearing Najwa eyes from Bilo, in 2 colors (mist and yellow) as they are mesh eyes and you can attach a different color to each eye. My dramatic make-up is by Beautiful Freak and is called Obake. It comes in several other color versions as well, it’s fun for dress up or just because. My top is by Geometry, it’s a funky mesh tank, aptly called Eku Tank and I’m wearing the pretty purple version, which I matched with the purple suede boots from lassitude & ennui which feature Sugarskulls (just like it’s name).

Pretty Preppy

I feel like such a proper lady in this outfit, so I thought I’d do a wee post with it. My top is by The Secret Store and is current at FaMESHed, called Sweet Sheer. It was a birthday gift from my lovely sister Sommer – she spoils me! And from there, the rest of the look was born. Pairing it with a high-waist skirt seemed like a no-brainer. Overall, using black as the main color and still looking young and fresh is a pretty nifty thing in my eyes.

Summer By The Water

Mild Or Wild?

I’ve been getting used to the new mesh viewer, and taking pictures with it isn’t the easiest thing but I am working on it. The great thing is, that I can handle the mesh items and that means I can wear the latest creations from designers like Jada Humby Couture. I’m wearing her Mocca Leopard print mesh dress and depending on how you style it, you can either be girly sweet or ravishingly sexy. The dress comes with the stockings I’m wearing as well as a scarf-style matching shawl. Both the shawl and dress come in 2 sizes, and it will cost you L$ 599.

My hair and necklace are also new items! My hair is called Bonjour and is from the fabulous LeLutka. You can get it buy the color pack for L$ 269 or all the colors under the rainbow (well, almost) for L$ 1152. I also got the hairbase, which is sold separately in 4 packs, at L$ 225 per color back or all of them for L$ 650. My necklace is from je suis… and is called Corail (which means coral in French). It costs L$ 249 and is color change to 10 types of stone and 3 metal options.

Electric Biscuit

I decided to put together a look with a color that isn’t in my usual repertoire, acid yellow. I got this great mini dress with cut-outs from Hucci (it was a group gift) and paired it with the BAX Prestige Boots in the Vogue Leopard colors (from Bax Coen Designs) – almost an exact match! I used accessories I picked up by doing the Platinum Hunt 2 and then wore my favorite skin of the moment.

My favorite skin is of course from LeLutka, I mentioned the Hadley skin in the last post but I got a nice close-up of the face this time. The eyebrows are absolute perfection;  and overall, I feel like this is a very “Kalia” look.

Is This All

Good to be back to blogging, took a little bit of a break because of summer and real life things. Now I will be getting back into the swing of things. I put together this little look from a couple of L$ 10 hunt items from The Platinum Hunt 2. I got the dress at paper.doll at it comes with the gold version of the sparkly top as well. Then I used the necklace from Alienbear, which comes with matching earrings. I’m wearing one of the new Hadley skins from LeLutka here, and it’s really lovely with the fuller brows and frosted lips (I’ll get a closer pic next time).

A Summery Feel

I am in love with this hat + hair combo from LeLutka. If you’re not a member of the group or subscribo then you need to be because they gave a whole outfit including this hat with several colors of hair. I haven’t taken it off yet. The rest of the outfit sort of revolved around it. The new prete bag from je suis… is the perfect carry-all tote for the summer and especially all those beach visits. It comes in 3 solid colors and bunch of striped versions. Of course I’ve got the striped pink one on, that’s just how I roll. Ok, not in the mood to write much, so there it is.

Preview: LeLutka At Shoe Fair 2011

Oh my gosh, LeLutka has done it again! They have released a pair of shoes that I have completely fell in love with, salivated over and nearly tried to take to bed. I love a wedge shoe because it’s so much more true to the real me – I walk terribly in stilettos!

These are the K.I.A. shoes and they come in a variety of colors. I’m wearing the Olive tone, which is really pretty and could work as a neutral option basically. There is a bright green shade called Ever Green (Shoe Fair Exclusive) being sold where 100% of the profit from that pair will go to Soles4Souls, the charity that the shoe fair is supporting. Each pair is individually sold for L$ 875 and the fatpack of 12 colors (not containing the exclusive color) is just over L$ 5000 if memory serves me correctly.

I also wanted to mention that the HUD was so easy to use, and the instructions were really clear, this is probably the easiest skin tinting system I’ve used.

I Really Love Olives

I really do love olives, almost every kind. Not so fond of those tasteless black kind that come in a can though. When you mention the color olive my mind automatically goes to the food, sorry! This is of course the color of the week for the 52 Weeks of Color blogger’s challenge. I’ve put my look together with things already in my inventory, turns out I had quite a few olive toned items. Who knew?

I’m also totally in love with this hair from LeLutka, if my hair was this fabulous in real life, I wouldn’t mind it being so curly.
